  • CALL FOR APPLICANTS: Medical Assistants, LPN's and RN's to fill full-time, part-time and PRN positions in our Quality Healthcare Physician Clinics (SCH physician clinics). Prior office experience a plus. Must be able to give shots, immunizations, perform venipuncture and assist with procedures. Must be able to work until all patients are seen at end of the work day. Looking for individuals who are compassionate and focused on good patient care and who will adhere to our Standards of Behavior.

     

 

  • Systems Administrator - Information Technology Department (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time. 80 hours per pay period. Day shift. Monday-Friday, but may include flexing of after-hours on-call. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Position reports to the IT Manager. Responsibilities: Required to perform software installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the network and servers to achieve optimum performance levels. Tier II support for end user issues and help with coverage of support staff when needed. Required Skills: Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and 2012. Active Directory Management Experience. Will participate in projects, with On-Call shifts required.

  • Coding Tech - Coding Department (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time. 80 hours per pay period. Mon-Fri: 8 am-4:30 pm. Experience in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS coding. Coder will perform coding for inpatient, swingbed, outpatient ancillary, outpatient surgery, emergency room, physician and other qualified healthcare providers. Provide education and feedback to providers of service in a timely manner. Projects and other duties as assigned by Coding Manager. Individual needs to be familiar with Federal and State policies. Strong medical terminology with anatomy and physiology knowledge. Experience with Microsoft Office, 3M Encoder and CPSI preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Individual must have the ability to adapt to change. Excellent customer skills. Qualified candidate will comply with HIPAA guidelines. Preferred RHIT or HIT pending certification. Must be willing to adopt Hospital's "Standards of Behavior".

  • Certified Athletic Trainer - Physical Therapy (Sports Medicine) (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Sparta Community Hospital offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled and qualified certified athletic trainer to provide high quality sports medicine services to our local high school. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, an IL ATC license, BLS and NATABOC certification. Must be able to make quick injury evaluations and analyze injuries and translate data into meaningful medical chart reports. On-site services at all home games a requirement. Must be a skilled communicator, working closely with student-athletes, parents, coaches and physicians, referring athletes for appropriate diagnostic, follow-up and subsequent injury tracking. Must enjoy working with community in promoting our sports medicine service.

  • (2) Clerical Office Assistant (s) - Bargaining Unit Positions

Full-time (Marissa Medical Clinic) & Part-Time (Specialty Clinic) FT-72 hrs per pay period, 4-9 hour shifts; PT-50 hrs per pay period, Mon to Fri, Hours may vary. Past experience in a physician's office preferred. Knowledge of basic office equipment to include computer and scanner skills. ICD-9 & CPT coding knowledge preferred. Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and be a team player who is willing to adopt our hospital's "Standards of Behavior."

  • Dietary Assistant - Dietary Department (Bargaining Unit Position)

Part-time. Shifts vary. Cook's experience preferred. On-the-job training. Must have good people skills. Will assist in preparation and serving of food. A team player who is willing to adopt Hospital's "Standards of Behavior".

  • Environmental Service Tech (s) - Housekeeping Department (Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time & Part-time. FT-Day shift. Some weekends. PT-32 hours per pay period (2 evenings per week). Must be able to work without supervision and any shift as needed (FT only). Must be able to operate carpet extractor and floor buffers. Must know how to properly strip, wax floors and run vacuum. Must be dependable. no call in's tolerated. Thorough in work ethic and must be able to meet State and Federal standards including the Hospital's "Standards of Behavior."

  • Customer Service Representative - Customer Service (Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time & Part-time. PT (20-40 hours per pay period. Evenings and weekends. Work schedule varies. Mostly weekends but other shifts as needed.) FT (72 hours per pay period, work schedule varies.) Qualified candidates must have excellent communication, computer and customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task and manage a multi-line phone system. Must be able to handle stressful situations and work a varied schedule. Must be able to work without direct supervision and be detail oriented. Medical terminology and/or coding a real plus.Looking for a team player who can work without a fast paced environment. Must adopt hospital's "Standards of Behavior."

  • Centralized Scheduler - Call Center (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Part-time. 40 hours per pay period. 1 year CPSI, CPSI MPEMER Clinic Scheduler and Enterprise Wide Scheduling experience. Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service. Must of have knowledge of patient registration, medical and insurance terminology, hospital and medical office functions. Must be proficient in operating computer applications, such as Outlook, Excel, CPSI, Word, Powerflow electronic document storage and other applications which might be necessary in the performance of job duties in a timely manner. Must adhere to hospital's "Standards of Behavior".

  • Fitness Aide - The Center (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Part-time. Hours and schedule will vary. 15 hours per pay period. Exceptional people skills required, with a desire to work in a fitness environment. Must be able to prioritize tasks and accomplish work in a timely fashion. Requires a knowledge of and usage of a variety of fitness equipment. Must be willing to adopt Hospital's "Standards of Behavior."

  • Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Part-time. At least 32 hours per pay period. Hours will vary though. Call time required. 2yrs operating room experience required. Circulator/scrub nurse experience required. Current IL RN licensure, CPR and ACLS required. Must adhere to the Hospital's "Standards of Behavior".

  • (2) Registered Nurse(s) - Emergency Department (Bargaining Unit Position)

(2) Full-time. 12 hour shifts. Schedule varies, includes some weekends. 72+ hours per pay period. Current Illinois RN license. ACLS & PALS required. 2-3 yrs ED experience. TNS or CEN preferred. Must adopt SCH "Standards of Behavior."

  • Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Department (Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time, with all benefits accorded a full-time employee. 7 pm- 7 am. 72 hours per pay period. 3-12 hour shifts. Current IL RN licensure. CPR & ACLS required. 2-3 years of Med-Surg nursing preferred. Must understand the concept of quality customer service and be willing to adopt the Hospital's "Standards of Behavior."

  • Radiology Tech - Radiology Department (Bargaining Unit Position)

PRN. Works as needed. Must be registered X-Ray Technician. Must be able to perform or willing to learn routine Diagnostic Radiology and CT, US, MRI and Mammograms a plus. Must possess valid Illinois Radiologic Technology license and ARRT certification. Must adopt the Hospital's Standards of Behavior.
