  • Health Information Clerk (Bargaining Unit Position) Health Information Services Department

Full-time. 72 hours or more per pay period. Regular shift. Work schedule based on department needs. Maintaining records, filing, phone duties and other clerical functions. Position requires a high level of organizational skill, and attention to detail. Computer keyboarding training imperative. Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service and adopt the "People First Philosophy"* Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting and reaching for long periods. Position requires a H.S. diploma, medical office experience and training in medical terminology. Must be dependable and able to work independently. Must exhibit good phone etiquette and be a team player in all aspects of the job.

  • Nurse's Aide - Nursing (Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time. 72 hours or more per pay period. 3-12 hour shifts, working every other weekend. CNA certified or equivalent. Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service and adapt the hospital's "People First Philosophy."*

  • Ward Clerk - Nursing Department

Full-time. Variable shifts. 8 hour days/evenings, working every other weekend and alternating holidays. High school diploma or GED required. Organized self-starter with strong telephone and computer skills needed. Medical terminology preferred. Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service and adapt the hospital's "People First Philosophy." Must exhibit strong verbal communication and critical thinking skills.

  • Coding Manager - Billing Department

Full-time. Responsible for managing the coding operations of the hospital and physician offices (Quality Healthcare Clinics). Includes coding within the charge master. Oversees the data that is abstracted in the facility for credentialing, quality reporting and statistics. Prior management experience a real plus. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and certification. Competitive benefits. RHIT and RHIA required. Prefer minimum of 5 years experience in the HIM field. Additional certification in coding (CCS, CPC preferred). AHIMA Trained, I10 trainer preferred.

  • Nurse's Aide - Nursing (Bargaining Unit Position)

Full-time. 72 hours or more per pay period. 3-12 hour shifts, working every other weekend. CNA certified or equivalent. Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service and adapt the hospital's "People First Philosophy."*

  • Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician - Laboratory

Full-time. Must be able to perform routine laboratory functions. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution. Or must have an Associates degree in a laboratory science, medical laboratory technology form an accredited institution. Before February 1992, received a degree from an accredited medical laboratory program (CLA, Gradwohl) Must understand the concept of exceptional customer service and adhere to the "People First Philosophy." Registry required (ASCP, or AMT, etc.)

  • Clerical-Call Center (Non-Bargaining Unit Position)

Part-time. Up to 40 hours per pay period. One year CPSI, CPSI MPEMER clinic scheduler and Enterprise Wide Scheduling experience. Must understand the concept of "People First Philosophy." Must have knowledge of patient registration, medical and insurance terminology, hospital and medical office functions. Must be proficient in operating computer software including electronic mail (Outlook), spreadsheets (Excel), electronic health records (CPSI), word processing (Word), electronic document storage (Powerflow) and other software as needed, in a timely manner.

  • Registered Nurse - At Home Health Care

Per Diem. Variable days and hours. RN with Illinois license. 1 year acute care experience required. Home Health experience preferred. Valid IL. driver's license, reliable transportation. Computer skills, excellent communication skills and adherence to People First Philosophy required.
