Pulmonary Services:

Each year more and more people experience breathing related problems.  With the increase in asthma, emphysema, lung cancer and COPD Respiratory therapists are working harder then ever to treat these people who suffer from breathing problems.  Sparta Community Hospital’s Pulmonary Services Department offers a full range of testing to help your physician to best determine how to treat your particular problem.  These test include:

  • Arterial Blood gases
  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
  • Peak Flow testing

Along with these tests the following services are available to help treat pulmonary problems:

  • Ventilator Services
  • Acapella treatments
  • Lung Disease Education
  • Metered Dose Inhaler
  • Pulse Oximetr
