Dr. Trost is a living example of being able to return home to enjoy the quality of life he remembered as a young child growing up in Marissa, IL. Born in St. Louis and raised in Marissa, he learned through hard work and education he could accomplish his goal of becoming a doctor and surgeon. Educated at Southern Illinois University-Springfield, he became a General Surgeon, practicing with several prestigious practices in northern Illinois. He now performs General Surgery at Sparta Community Hospital and sees patients at the Bradbury Rural Health Clinic-Surgical Services.
