Something About Dr. Wood:
Dr. Wood has a diverse medical background and a specified interest in Rural Medicine, Infectious disease, community and public health. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Wood received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2001 and her graduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2006. She completed her Family Residency program at St. Louis University in 2009. Dr. Wood is fully licensed in the State of Illinois and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Wood sees patients on Fridays, by appointment, at the Medical Weight Management Clinic.

Maxwell Hayden, DPM – Wound Care, Podiatry

Board Qualification: American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery

Dr. Hayden will be providing podiatry services at Family Health Centre, Coulterville Medical Clinic, Steeleville Clinic and Marissa Medical Clinic.

Dr. Hayden graduated from North Central College, Naperville, IL, with a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Biochemistry, in 2013. He then graduated with honors, as a Phi Delta Honoree, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2018 from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. He has recently completed the Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital Residency Program in Dixon, Il.

Along with receiving the Phi Delta Honoree at graduation, Dr. Hayden earned the Dean’s Scholarship 2009 from 2013, the Sheldon P. Goren and the DPM Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence.
