Sparta Community Hospital’s Mobile Healthcare Clinic provides healthcare to underserved populations. As an Accountable Care Organization, this will allow the organization to put even more emphasis on prevention and outreach to rural areas.
“This mobile unit will allow us to reach pockets of our population that previously had to travel to neighboring communities to receive healthcare.” states Peter Hertzing, Clinic Administrator. “We look forward to the patient relationships we are able to build and are excited to continue our mission of improving community health through this increased access to healthcare.”
Our Mobile Healthcare Clinic is self-sufficient, including a generator, 2 exam rooms, heating and air conditioning systems as well as medical equipment for regular exams. Staff will have the ability to draw blood on the unit and it includes a wheelchair lift for those with mobility limitations.
Services that will be provided will be the same as you would receive from your primary care provider or at Convenient Care, our urgent care facility at our North Campus Healthcare location in Sparta. There will be convenient billing of insurance as offered in our clinics.
Appointments for services at each Mobile Healthcare Clinic location can be scheduled by calling 443-1DOC (1362). Walk-ins or same day services will also be available.
