Dr. James Reeves is a board-certified family physician at Sparta Medical Clinic with more than a decade of experience providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

He served as an attending family physician in Arkansas for 12 years and completed his residency at the SIU Family Medicine Residency Program, where he was selected as Senior Chief Resident. In recognition of his commitment to excellence in family medicine, Dr. Reeves has earned the designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).

Dr. Reeves received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences – College of Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas and the United States Air Force Academy. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Known for taking time with his patients, Dr. Reeves listens carefully, asks the right questions, and works to understand the full picture of each patient’s health. Whether managing chronic conditions or addressing new concerns, he focuses on identifying root causes and developing thoughtful, personalized care plans.
