Sparta Community Hospital is a licensed 25-bed acute care facility that offers a wide range of services including: OB, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed by physicians from
HospitalMD.
Our service area encompasses a 25 mile radius including the towns of Sparta, Steeleville, Coulterville, and Marissa. Sparta Community Hospital's Radiology Department boasts state of the art technology most typically found in larger institutions. In addition to Mammography and plain film x-rays, the department has 4 slice CT scanner, 3D Ultrasound technology, and a nuclear medicine scanner. they are not subject to the supervision or control of the hospital with respect
