Dr. Maxwell Hayden provides patient-centered podiatry care focused on helping you stay active, comfortable, and confident on your feet. Known for his calm, approachable style, he takes the time to listen closely and understand what’s really going on—so care is tailored to your needs.
Board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Hayden brings advanced training and a strong clinical foundation to every patient interaction. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, before going on to graduate with honors as a Phi Delta Honoree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed his residency at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon, Illinois, where he further developed his expertise in both surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle care.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Hayden was recognized for excellence, earning the Dean’s Scholarship and multiple awards for academic achievement, including the Sheldon P. Goren and DPM Memorial Scholarships.
In addition to general podiatry services, Dr. Hayden also provides care in the Wound Care Clinic—supporting patients with complex or slow-healing wounds, including those related to diabetes and circulation issues. His focus on early intervention, education, and ongoing management helps patients heal safely while reducing the risk of complications.
