The American Cancer Society reports that roughly 1 in 5  and 1 in 6 cancer related deaths in the United States are related to poor nutrition.  In fact, many cancers could potentially be prevented with proper nutrition and physical activity.

It’s no secret that diet can affect all aspects of your overall health, and that certainly includes your chances in developing cancer,” says Registered Dietician, Courtney Johnson.

To help, Johnson a free class on Thursday, May 26, to share about certain foods and dietary patterns that are linked with a lower risk of cancer.  The class will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Auxiliary Room A at Broadway Plaza.
