Illinois Nutrition Education Programs is offering a series of kid-friendly cooking classes.  Illinois Junior Chefs is a great way for your child to learn basic cooking skills while having fun!  Illinois Junior Chefs is appropriate for ages 8-13.

Led by Landon Chandler, University of Illinois Extension – Community Worker, kids will learn:

  • easy to make, tasty recipes,
  • tips to stay safe in the kitchen, and
  • information on eating healthy.

This 5-day event is scheduled July 11-18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sparta Community Hospital Broadway Plaza, Suite 3.
