Celebrating Dr. Elvira Salarda’s 33 Years of Service
After more than three decades of caring for the people of our community, Dr. Elvira Salarda has officially retired from her practice at Sparta Medical Office, with her last day in clinic on July 30, 2025.
For 33 years, Dr. Salarda has dedicated her life to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to generations of families. From delivering babies to being there for milestones throughout life, she has left an incredible mark on our community and on the hearts of those she has served.
Sparta has been home not just to her practice but to her family as well. Dr. Salarda and her husband, Freddie, raised their children here and operated a restaurant, surrounded by the kindness and support of friends, neighbors, and patients who quickly became like family.
As Dr. Salarda enters retirement, we are grateful for the years of dedication, the countless lives touched, and the legacy of caring she leaves behind.
We invite you to join us for an Open House Celebration in her honor:
📅 Tuesday, August 26
🕔 5:00–7:00 p.m.
📍 Sparta Community Hospital Front Lobby
We are also excited to welcome Dr. James Reeves to the Sparta Medical Office team, joining Deanne Rieckenberg, APRN, and Jennifer Demsar, APRN, in continuing the tradition of high-quality, compassionate care that patients have come to know and trust.
On behalf of the entire team at Sparta Community Hospital District, we thank Dr. Salarda for her years of service and wish her joy and fulfillment in this next chapter of life.
Thank you, Dr. Salarda, for everything you’ve done for our patients, our staff, and our community. You will be dearly missed!
