The Spirit of Excellence recognizes employees and/or departments for going above and beyond to provide an exceptional service for patients and/or staff members.

Kayla Wilson, Customer Service, was recently nominated by a coworker for going above and beyond to provide an exceptional service for a patient.

“Kayla was clocking out right after a shift change when Customer Service suddenly got very busy. Kayla noticed a patient and her father waiting and stepped back into her cubicle and called the patient in to assist her. The patient’s father noticed what she had done and remarked that she didn’t have to do that after her shift had ended. Kayla simply smiled and responded, “it’s not a big deal, we’ll take care of her.” In my opinion it was a big deal and Kayla put her patient first.” This is going above and beyond our Standards of Behavior and displaying the same type of compassion we want all employees to have.”
