“Sparta Community Hospital District’s Mobile Unit has been taking healthcare services to our community since late August 2021.” States Peter Hertzing, Clinic Administrator.  “It has been very exciting to see the impact we have had at the Sparta School District as well as the community of New Athens.  We are very pleased to expand this service to Campbell Hill and Percy and love the welcoming support we have received from the patients and leaders of these communities.”

The Mobile Healthcare Clinic is self-sufficient, including a generator, 2 exam rooms, heat, and air conditioning systems as well as medical equipment for regular exams.  Staff will have the ability to draw blood on the unit and it includes a wheelchair lift for those with mobility issues.
