Rhonda Peck, RN, BSN, Surgical Services Supervisor, was honored for 25 years of service at Sparta Community Hospital on Friday, August 20. Rhonda was presented with a 25 year pin and celebrated with staff during lunch.
Rhonda graduated from University of Alabama in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked in many areas of nursing during her career, including the medical surgical floor, emergency room, obstetrics & home health. She has now served 25 years as Director of Surgical Services at Sparta Community Hospital.
“I love working in surgery, states Rhonda, especially in our small community where I get to know the patients and care for their families.
Rhonda and her husband, Paul, have 2 sons, Shane and Austin. She has recently, this past year, became a Grandma to two granddaughters, Baylor (6 months) and Ellie (3 months). Her hobbies are horseback riding, traveling to the beach, relaxing in the pool and of course babysitting!
