Danielle Rickenberg, Ultrasound Technologist

To earn this certification, Rickenberg met the examination prerequisites that pertained to her knowledge in physics and cardiac ultrasound specialty.

“Being echo certified allows me to enhance patient care within our community to ensure proper heart functioning,” states Rickenberg. “Screening for conditions like congestive heart failure, leaking heart valves, intracardiac shunts, and clots are crucial in supporting physicians’ treatment of patients.”

Rickenberg has joined ultrasound technologists Brandi Wolf and Ashley Wolfe at Sparta Community Hospital in obtaining this certification.  The ARDMS states that this credential elevates the global standard of cardiac ultrasound practice to advocate for improved patient safety.  Specifically designed for medical experts in the cardiac sonography sector, earning the RDCS credential provides healthcare professionals with a significant advantage in ensuring patient safety in cardiac sonography.
