At Sparta Community Hospital, we believe in better care for every patient, every time. That’s why we are excited to share that Danielle Rickenberg, RT(R), RDMS (ABD, OB/GYN, BR), RVT, RDCS, has successfully passed the national board examination in Breast Sonography.

This achievement strengthens our Imaging Department by adding advanced expertise in the detection of breast masses — including breast cancer, benign breast lesions, and dense breast tissue. With two certified breast sonographers now on staff, patients can count on even greater access to skilled, compassionate care close to home.

Why This Matters for Patients

Breast sonography is an important tool in the early detection of breast disease. For patients with dense tissue, or when mammography shows an area of concern, breast ultrasound can provide additional clarity. Having more certified breast sonographers on our team means:
