The Sparta Community Hospital Auxiliary recently made their annual Tree of Hope donation to the organization. This year the Auxiliary raised $16,500 during their campaign to purchase a patient floor lift, commercial blanket warmer, and an ice machine for the cafeteria.

The patient floor lift will enhance safe working practices for staff when transferring patients by distributing weight evenly, enabling close, reassuring contact with the caregiver throughout the patient’s transfer. The commercial hospital grade blanket warming cabinet maintains a safe, consistent temperature throughout the unit, providing warmth to blankets & towels, keeping patients comfortable in all healthcare settings. The hospital’s cafeteria not only provides meals, snacks, and beverages to their staff, but also to patients and visitors. The new integral air-cooled ice machine automatically flushes out impurities, and serves soft chewable, compressed nugget ice, preferred by all, and is ideal for patient care.

Thank you to all who donated to the Tree of Hope Campaign, and for all who continuously support our Auxiliary in all that they do!
