The Illinois National Guard and Airmen have been activated in support of COVID-19 response operations

As you’ve likely heard on the news, Governor Pritzker has activated the Illinois National Guard and Airmen in support of COVID-19 response operations.

Our very own Med Surg RN, Elizabeth Bruce, has been called to report to duty. Beth is a member of the 183d Wing out of Springfield. According to Governor Pritzker’s Press Release, we can expect Beth to be a part of setting up the hospital at McCormick place in Chicago.

In support of Beth, and her team, Sparta Community Hospital encouraged employees to wear patriotic attire today.
