Welcome Dr. Sara Malone to Steeleville Clinic

At Sparta Community Hospital District, Believe in Better means continuing to invest in the people, services, and relationships that make our communities healthier. We’re proud to welcome Dr. Sara Malone, MD, to Steeleville Clinic—expanding access to FOUR high-quality providers.

Dr. Malone is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for all ages, from children to adults. With a strong focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and long-term health management, she is committed to helping patients stay well at every stage of life.

For Dr. Malone, this role is also personal.

“As a Steeleville resident, I’m excited to bring my experience back to my community and continue caring for patients close to home,” she shared.

Her addition strengthens an already dedicated care team. Dr. Malone joins Dr. Preuss and physician assistants Karen Chamness and Dani Scott, bringing the Steeleville Clinic to four providers serving the community. Together—and with expanded access through our Mobile Clinic at Trico, an extension of Steeleville Clinic—we are improving access to care for patients and families across the region.

Dr. Malone brings not only clinical expertise, but also experience in healthcare leadership and medical education, supporting a thoughtful, collaborative approach to patient care.
