A celebration was held on Thursday, June 11, in honor of Cindy McCauley for 40 years of service with Sparta Community Hospital. Due to the social distancing the IT staff celebrated in their department with cupcakes while other SCH staff sent their congratulations via email.
Cindy started at the hospital part time running the switchboard, waiting on patients, filing and billing. She was present when the hospital purchased their first computer and helped convert the entire organization over to a computer system.
Over the years Cindy has held several different positions, including payroll, accounts receivable, served as supervisor in data processing and is now an Information Systems specialist in the IT Department. She has seen many changes over the years.
Cindy is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband, Robert have been married for 36 years, have two children, two granddaughters, and two more grandchildren expected in September and October. Cindy loves spending time with family.
