Cheryl Adams, Chair of the SCH Healthy Holiday Hustle, presented a check for $2,705 to the Sparta Shop with a Cop Program during the Sparta City Board Meeting on December 14. The race was forced to go virtual this year due to the pandemic. Virtual registrations were very low compared to our past runs, but thanks to our sponsors, Meier Chevrolet, Hooker’s Men’s Store, Haury Plumbing, Sparta Knights of Columbus, First National Bank of Steeleville, White Rooster, and the SCH staff stepping up, as they always do, we met our goal! Jeremy Kempfer, Assistant Chief, informed the group that the program donates $100 per child to spend on their shopping spree and was very thankful for the donation.
