Sparta Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Maxwell M. Hayden, DPM, BA, will begin seeing patients at their North Campus Healthcare Clinic beginning Tuesday, September 7th.  He will serve as a full time Podiatrist specializing in general podiatry care, foot and ankle surgery and wound care.

Dr. Hayden graduated from North Central College, Naperville, IL, with a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Biochemistry, in 2013.  He then graduated with honors, as a Phi Delta Honoree, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2018 from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago.  He has recently completed the Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital Residency Program in Dixon, Il.

Along with receiving the Phi Delta Honoree at graduation, Dr. Hayden earned the Dean’s Scholarship 2009 from 2013, the Sheldon P. Goren and the DPM Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence.

Dr. Hayden has been an avid volunteer in many community programs from 2016 through 2021, such as Care Coach, Chicago Diabetes Expo, Katherine Shaw Bethea Sock Drive, KSB We Care Drive and KSB School Supply Drive.  He also volunteered at Feed the Hungry and First Aid Kit Drive.
