Drive- Up Testing
Sparta Community Hospital is working hard to meet the needs of the community during this pandemic.
In effort to conserve and reallocate resources, COVID-19 swabbing via Drive-Up Services at Sparta Community Hospital will be reserved strictly for patients of Sparta Community Hospital District and/or individuals residing in the hospital district (zip code of 62286). This decision has been made in effort to focus care to our community and patients, as we are experiencing a significant increase in demand for testing.
PCR swabs collected via Drive-Up Services continue to be sent to the Illinois State lab for testing. A turnaround time of 72-96 hours should be expected.
If your home test has resulted positive and you are experiencing symptoms, please contact your primary care provider. If you are positive and asymptomatic, please follow IDPH and CDC guidelines for isolation and quarantine.
