Testing for Surgical Patients

If you are scheduled for a surgical procedure at Sparta Community Hospital, please visit the Surgical Procedures and COVID-19 section for testing instructions.

Drive- Up Testing

Sparta Community Hospital is working hard to meet the needs of the community during this pandemic.

Sparta Community Hospital has re-opened our drive-up testing site for exposed and/or symptomatic patients.  We do ask that you call your primary care provider or Convenient care at 443-6228 to be scheduled.  Staff will schedule you an appointment to be swabbed.  Staff will gather some quick information, including your car type and color.  We ask that patients arrive at their scheduled appointments time, with their insurance card ready, and remain in their car.  You remain in your car, and a staff member will direct you pull forward, where you will be registered, swabbed and given instructions.

Patients should call his/her Primary Care Provider, and speak to his/her office staff about your symptoms and/or exposure level.  If you are experiencing symptoms, your provider may schedule you a time to be seen.

It’s a simple process, and you don’t have to worry about being around other patients.

If the individual does not have a primary care provider, we are asking that he/she calls our Convenient Care Clinic to speak to a provider.

Drive-Up Testing is available by appointment, Monday-Friday, at the Hospital, and Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Convenient Care.

Sparta Community Hospital does not accept walk-in testing.  We ask that patients first call their primary care provider, or convenient care for an order.
